“My Heart Sitting on the Branch of Nothing”

The great Hungarian poet József Attila’s line “My heart sitting on the branch of nothing” was immediately resonating in me when I heard it as a teenager. I even saw a picture of it inside of me. Now I have taken the courage to paint very simply from my inner world, instead of putting visible things on the canvas in a technically skilled way. I honestly say that the painting wasn’t always calm, there are great waves in this journey of creation. Thank you József Attila, your genius captures the being of a human and connects the wisdom of East and West.
